Can I use bold and italic in the Stryd email templates?
Absolutely. Use ** before and after a word or phrase to make it bold (e.g., savings), and _ for italics (e.g., contact us).
Can I add a link to my email template?
You sure can. Here’s an example

Inside the square brackets, provide the text you want your customer to see in the email, ie [...]. Then include the URL of the webpage you want the customer to be directed to when clicking the link inside normal brackets, ie (....)
Can I make sure emails from Stryd are sent from my own email address?
Yes, Stryd offers email integration so you can send messages from your usual email address.
Refer to this article for the setup steps - Setup Email Domain Integration
If you're using your aggregator’s email domain, you may need their support to enable this.
Can I change the ‘Fixed Content’ in my Stryd email templates?
Yes, this can be updated by the Stryd team. Please email your preferred text to support@stryd.au. This ensures essential links in your emails are preserved and function correctly.
Can I update my email signature?

Can I create different versions of the email templates in Stryd?
Yes you sure can. Just click on Add Template in the Settings/Templates screen.
📊 Customer Management & Reporting
Can I print a report to send to my customer or keep as a record?
Yes. When viewing Loan Offers for a customer, you can print the page as a PDF using your browser’s “Print to PDF” function.
How do I add new labels to Stryd?
Just email the label details to support@stryd.au and we’ll create them for you.
Can I change the email address of a customer I’ve already added to Stryd?
Not yet, but it’s on our roadmap for this year. In the meantime, you can re-add the customer using their new email address.
How do I delete a customer from Stryd?
Where a Consent Request has NOT been sent, a customer can be deleted. Simply email support@stryd.au with the details of the customer to delete.
Stryd offers a Do Not Contact feature, accessible from the View Customers page, to ensure no emails are sent to specific contacts. We are also developing an archive and delete function as part of this year’s roadmap.
Can I report on or extract the data held in Stryd?
Stryd doesn’t currently support inbuilt reporting or data extraction. We’re exploring broker needs in this area for future development.
🧠 Customer Insights & Prioritisation
How does Stryd determine the priority assigned to a customer?
Customer priority is assigned based on the estimated first interest savings. Savings are based on switching to the lowest available variable rate from your preferred lenders.
|
Priority |
Estimated first year interest savings (total across all loans) |
|
Critical |
$6,000+ |
|
High |
$2,000 - $5,999 |
|
Medium |
$500 - $1,999 |
|
Low |
Less than $500 |
Does Stryd consider or display the fees associated with refinancing a loan?
This enhancement is planned for our roadmap. Soon, Stryd will include estimated fees in refinancing insights.
🔍 Loan Products and Offers
Can I filter the products shown in loan offers based on features (e.g., offset accounts)?
This capability is currently being added—stay tuned for updates!
Does Stryd have Offset Accounts?
Offset account balances shared through Open Banking are not yet supported. At present, Stryd includes redraw amounts only. Offset support is part of this year’s roadmap.
Can I see the Fixed Rate or Interest Only expiry date?
These details are not currently shared via Open Banking. However, we plan to allow brokers to capture this manually later this year. In the interim, consider using labels to record this information.
Why does Stryd not show the term of a Fixed Rate product for some lenders?
Some lenders use pricing rules instead of publishing separate products for different fixed terms. We’re analysing how to improve this and will share updates as they’re available.
Is Stryd focused only on residential property loans?
Stryd is currently optimised for residential property loans. While some insights extend to other loan types (e.g., personal or car loans), the primary focus is residential lending.
🔐 Open Banking Access
I’m logged into Stryd and can’t see the Enable Open Banking button.
Only accredited brokers can request access to financial data via Open Banking, per legislation. Logins for client service teams do not currently include this capability.
Can just one of the applicants on a joint account consent to share loan data?
Yes, only one applicant on a joint account needs to provide consent. We recommend sending the consent request to all applicants for transparency, as lenders will notify all parties when consent is granted.
Is Open Banking available for white label or non-bank lenders?
These products are not yet covered by CDR legislation (expected ~July 2026), so Open Banking access is not currently available. However, you can manually add these loans to Stryd in the meantime.
🧾 Customer Data
Can I add SMSF, Trustee and Corporate customers to Stryd?
Yes. While Stryd does not yet filter products based on structures like SMSFs, you can still add these customer types by entering the nominated representative’s details. A field for Company/Trust/SMSF name is not yet available.
I enabled Property Valuation on a security address but there’s no value.
Stryd uses PropTrack for property valuations. If insufficient market data exists for a property, no valuation will be shown. In such cases, please use an alternative source (e.g., CoreLogic, RP Data, or a bank valuation) and manually enter the information.
