Set Up Email Domain Integration in Stryd

Learn how to integrate your own email domain with Stryd so customer emails are sent from your business domain instead of the default Stryd domain.

Overview

Setting up email domain integration ensures your communications look professional and come directly from your business email domain. This increases trust with customers and reduces the chance of emails being flagged as spam.

Steps

Add Your Domain

  1. Go to Settings > Email Domains.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  3. Enter your email domain (e.g., yourbroker.com.au).
  4. Click Add Domain.

Update DNS Records

  1. After adding your domain, Stryd will generate three CNAME records.
  2. Provide these records to your email domain provider:
    • If you manage your own domain, log in to your provider’s portal (e.g., Crazy Domains, GoDaddy).
    • If you use an IT provider, send them the records to add to your DNS.

Verify Domain Setup

  • Once the CNAME records are correctly added, the status in Stryd will update.
  • A green tick will appear next to your domain, confirming successful integration.
  • If you still see an amber symbol, the records have not yet been verified.

When to Use / Common Scenarios

  • Initial setup: Ensure all customer emails are sent from your business domain.
  • Rebranding: Add and verify a new domain if your business email domain changes.

Outcome

Emails sent via Stryd will display your business domain, improving customer trust and email deliverability.

Troubleshooting / Tips

  • Allow time for DNS changes to propagate—it may take a few hours.
  • Double-check that the CNAME records are entered exactly as provided.
  • Contact your domain provider if you’re unsure where to update DNS settings.
