Update a Property Valuation in Stryd

Learn how to update a property's valuation in Stryd using either an automated valuation from PropTrack or a manually entered value.

 

 

Overview

You can update property valuations directly from a customer's record in Stryd. Choose between an automated valuation from PropTrack or enter your own value based on information from a lender or other source. Keeping valuations up to date ensures accurate customer and portfolio insights.

Steps

Get an Automated Valuation from PropTrack

  1. Open Customers and select the customer whose property valuation you want to update.

  2. Click View Customer to open the customer details page.

  3. Go to the Properties tab.

  4. Click Edit on the property you want to update.

  5. In Valuation Method, select Automated Valuation Model.

  6. Click Update Property.

    • A valuation will automatically be retrieved from PropTrack.

Enter a Manual Valuation

  1. From the same Properties tab, click Edit on the property you want to set the value for.

  2. In the Valuation field, type the value you want to use.

  3. Click Update Property.

    • Use this option when you have a valuation from a lender or another source.

When to Use / Common Scenarios

  • Automated valuation: Use when you want an instant estimate from PropTrack.

  • Manual valuation: Use when you have a verified valuation from a lender or professional source.

Outcome

The property’s valuation is updated in the customer record. If you used PropTrack, the value is retrieved automatically. Manual entries are saved immediately.

Troubleshooting / Tips

  • Ensure you have permission to edit customer property details.

  • Use PropTrack valuations for quick updates and consistency.

  • Enter manual valuations when precision or lender verification is required.
