Send or Follow Up on a Customer Consent
Learn how to remind customers to complete their consent or send a new consent when required.
Overview
Consent is required for customers to share their loan information with Stryd. You can follow up if a customer has not completed their consent or issue a new consent when circumstances change. This helps keep loan applications accurate and compliant.

-
Select one or more customers from the left-hand menu.
-
Click Request Open Banking Consent.
-

-
The selected customers will receive the reminder.
Send a Consent Follow-Up from a Customer Record
-
Open a customer’s details page.
-
Go to the Open Banking tab.

When to Use / Common Scenarios
-
New loan account established: If the customer has refinanced or taken a new property loan, they must provide consent for the new account.
-
Customer withdrew consent by mistake: If a customer accidentally revokes consent but wishes to continue, send them a new consent link.
Outcome
-
Customers receive either a reminder or a fresh consent request.
-
Loan sharing remains up to date at the account level.
Troubleshooting / Tips
-
Consent applies at the loan account level. Each new account requires fresh consent.
-
If unsure which option to use, always start with a follow-up before sending a brand-new consent.
