Follow Up or Send a New Consent in Stryd

Learn how to send follow-up reminders for open banking consent or issue a new consent request when required. You can do this from the Customers list or from an individual customer’s record.

 

Overview

Open banking consent is required for Stryd to access a customer’s loan data. If a customer has not completed their consent, you can send reminders by email or SMS. In some cases, you may also need to issue a brand new consent if new loan accounts are created or a customer withdraws their consent.

Steps

Send a Follow-Up from the Customers List

  1. Go to Customers > View Customers.
  2. Select the customers you want to remind.
  3. Click Request Open Banking Consent.
  4. Choose Follow-Up Consent Email or Follow-Up Consent SMS.
  5. The reminder will be sent to the selected customers.

Send a Follow-Up from the Customer Record

  1. Open the customer’s record.
  2. Go to the Open Banking tab.
  3. Under the Actions column, select Send Follow-Up Email or Send Follow-Up SMS.

Send a New Consent

  1. From the customer record, go to the Open Banking tab.
  2. Click Request Consent.
  3. Confirm the recipients.
  4. (Optional) Pre-select lenders.
  5. Choose an email template.
  6. Click Send.

When to Use / Common Scenarios

  • Follow-Up Reminders:
    • Customer has not completed consent after the initial request.
    • You want to nudge them via email or SMS.
  • New Consent:
    • Customer has a new loan account (e.g., refinance or new property loan).
    • Customer has withdrawn consent but now wants to re-authorise access.

Outcome

Customers receive either a reminder or a new consent request, ensuring their loan data can continue to flow into Stryd for analysis and recommendations.

Troubleshooting / Tips

  • Use SMS follow-ups if customers are not responding to email reminders.
  • Always issue a new consent when additional loan accounts are created.
